Biteship API Integration

Overview

• This work demonstrates my integration of the Biteship API into web and mobile applications to enable real-time courier rate calculations and instant delivery creation based on precise geographic coordinates.

The Idea

• Modern delivery-based applications require accurate logistics integration to ensure fast checkout flows and reliable courier dispatching.
• By integrating the Biteship API into the ordering system, applications can dynamically calculate delivery rates, present courier options to users, and automatically create delivery orders once checkout is completed.
• This approach reduces friction in the checkout process while ensuring real-time logistics coordination.

• Courier rate calculation using the Biteship /rates/couriers endpoint
