We Are All Sinners, But Allah’s Help Is Never Late
No matter how deep our sins or trials may be, Allah has promised forgiveness and help in perfect proportion. Never lose hope — as long as we live, the doors of His mercy remain open.

We Are All Sinners, But Allah’s Help Is Never Late
Never consider yourself holier than others.
We are all sinners. The only difference lies in the form and weight of the sins we commit. Some are visible, some hidden, some repeated.
But in the sight of Allah, the best among us is not the one with the fewest sins— but the one who sincerely acknowledges their mistakes and rushes back to Him in humility.
Trials and setbacks in life are often signs of divine mercy.
They could be reminders of sins we’ve committed—whether against Allah or fellow humans.
But trials are not the end. They’re often the start of sincere repentance and divine assistance.
Allah says:
"Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" (Qur’an, Az-Zumar 39:53)
This verse isn’t just a comfort. It’s a divine promise.
No sin is greater than Allah’s mercy.
What truly destroys a person is not the sin itself—
but the despair that follows it.
"Those who believe and whose hearts are comforted by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are comforted." (Qur’an, Ar-Ra’d 13:28)
Still, life isn’t always easy.
For many, things feel heavier with each passing day. And in times like these, the Prophet ﷺ offered a powerful reminder:
"Indeed, Allah’s help comes in proportion to the hardship, and patience is granted in proportion to the calamity." (Narrated by Al-Bazzar no. 6583 and Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab al-Iman no. 9544; authenticated by Al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami’ no. 1952)
This means: if you're going through a hardship that feels like “70% difficulty,” then rest assured—Allah’s help will also arrive at a full 70%. No more, no less. Even if solutions haven’t come yet, know that the patience that has sustained you thus far… is a gift from Allah.
Another narration confirms this:
"Allah sends help in accordance with the burden, and sends patience at the moment of trial." (Shu’ab al-Iman no. 9544)
Solutions may be delayed, yes.
But patience arrives right on time — straight from heaven — to hold us until the relief arrives.
Now, ask yourself:
Do we truly believe in this promise?
"Allah said: I am as My servant thinks of Me. If he thinks good of Me, he will have it; and if he thinks ill of Me, he will have that." (Musnad Ahmad no. 9076; authenticated by Al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami’ no. 4315)
Our expectations shape our outcomes.
If you truly believe Allah’s help is coming, it will come.
If you are filled with despair, you’ve already closed the door before the help could knock.
And often, instead of turning to Allah first… we turn to everything else.
How many of us run to prayer the moment calamity strikes?
Allah instructs:
"Seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, it is difficult, except for the humbly submissive [to Allah]." (Qur’an, Al-Baqarah 2:45)
We crave quick solutions, yet we increase neither our worship nor our repentance.
We long for ease, yet hold back the very acts that bring divine aid.
"Do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were afflicted with suffering and adversity and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed with him said, 'When is the help of Allah?' Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near." (Qur’an, Al-Baqarah 2:214)
We rush, but the process takes time.
We seek relief, but avoid the path that leads to it.
We want to sail… but without building the boat.
This journey isn't about strength.
It’s about trust.
"And mankind was created weak." (Qur’an, An-Nisa’ 4:28)
Yes, we are weak by nature.
But Allah is strong — and His help never misses the mark.
Don’t let the whispers of despair poison your soul.
"Satan threatens you with poverty and commands immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness and bounty." (Qur’an, Al-Baqarah 2:268)
Don’t despair.
Don’t keep blaming yourself endlessly.
Repent. Return. Rise.
"Whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer — We will surely grant them a good life." (Qur’an, An-Nahl 16:97)
And one thing is certain:
"Allah will bring about ease after hardship." (Qur’an, At-Talaq 65:7)
Allah is never late.
Sometimes… we’re just too quick to give up.
